Cancellation between February 1 and June 1 2027: Deposit and October payment forfeited, February payment refunded.

Force Majeure
If the retreat cannot proceed due to circumstances beyond our control (including, but not limited to, natural disasters, pandemics, government travel restrictions, political unrest, or venue closures), Julie Smerdon Enterprises reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event. In such cases, deposits remain non-refundable; however, where possible, I will offer a credit toward a future retreat or alternative dates. This is why travel insurance is required for all participants.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance that includes cancellation coverage is required for all participants. This is to protect your investment in case of illness, emergency, or unexpected travel disruptions. You will be asked to provide proof of insurance before we travel.
Compassionate Consideration
I understand that life can be unpredictable. In the event of a serious illness, family emergency, or other unforeseen circumstance, please get in touch with me as soon as possible. While the cancellation terms above will still apply, I may be able to offer a partial refund or credit toward a future retreat, at my discretion.
TRAVEL INFORMATION
You will need to purchase your own return flights to and from Fiji.
VISA & ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Visa on Arrival is available for Australian & US citizens. You’ll need:
Valid passport (must be valid for 6+ months beyond your travel dates)
Most modern passports have electronic chips, allowing you to use the faster e-gate system at the airport for quick immigration processing.
VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS
No vaccinations are required for entry to Fiji. However, health authorities recommend travellers be up to date on routine vaccinations and consider Hepatitis A. Consult your doctor for personalised health advice.
HEALTH POLICY
Please inform me of any injuries or medical conditions (physical or mental) prior to booking. You may be advised to seek medical advice before attending the retreat. Also, advise of any allergies or dietary restrictions as needed.
PLEASE NOTE
Since Toberua is a private island, they have their own first aid, but for anything serious, you have to take a boat back to the mainland. It is worth reminding everyone to bring their own specific medications or “just in case” kits (like Imodium or antiseptic) since there isn’t a pharmacy right around the corner.
PARTICIPATION POLICY
Classes missed or services not used will not be reimbursed. Retreat attendees participate at their own risk and must use their own judgment as to which movements and positions are appropriate for their level of training and experience.
